The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History consists of a 17,000-square-foot building rested upon 80 acres of conservation land. Inside, two exhibits floors cover native flora and fauna, creatures such as whales and indigenous birds, and coastal change; outside, nature paths wind through woodland, salt marsh, and other regiona natural habitats. The museum lies about 30 miles down the coast from Provincetown, just above Upper Mill Pond.
